A new collaboration of MoBY:
‘A4 – JOY OF UNRELIABILITY’ –
a new online and live project – an interactive work for printer and user. The project is based on a dialogue between three Catalan artists – Anna Dot, Enric Farres Duran, Josep Maynou and three colleagues from Israel – Ariel Schlesinger, Namma Tsabar, Mattan Mittwoch; and was co-curated by Erich Weiss & Irma Arribas based in Barcelona.

The project aims to experiment with new forms of presentation and expression, while taking in consideration the conditions that the CoronaVirus is constantly creating. It is a set of instructions, conceived by contemporary artists, published and distributed through the internet and realized and experienced by the receiving viewer/visitor. In a certain way a new space is created between the distant creator, the internet as a connecting device and the inside restrained receiver.

The starting point is a text piece, drawing, photo or visual image containing a message and/or instruction. It is an A4 size dimensioned work created by one of the participating artists, accessible by mail for an audience, who as -individual viewers- can decide to download and print it.
